Board of Directors

            Lyon-Coffey Electric Cooperative, Inc. was formed January 1, 1989 by merging Coffey County Rural Electric Cooperative Association, Inc. and Lyon County Electric Cooperative, Inc. Coffey County REC Association was formally organized July 2, 1938 when the articles of incorporation were signed by 20 farmers of Coffey County. Seven of those signers were chosen directors of the organization. The board of directors of the Lyon County Electric Cooperative held their first meeting on June 16, 1938. That board also had seven members and was guided by REA representatives to proceed with building an electric cooperative system. The duty of the board is to oversee the business and affairs of the Cooperative making sure that your co-op continues to operate in the best interests of its members. The current board members of Lyon-Coffey Electric Cooperative are:
